Bella Swope, Choreographer

Bella Swope directs Spotlight’s youngest performance troupe, Sparkles (with Kelly Swope, coordinator of the troupes and volunteer programs). Bella is also the Assistant Choreographer for Spotlight’s other performance troupes, Confetti, Celebration, and Evolution.

Bella is a recent graduate of Arizona Conservatory for Arts and Academics. She has been performing since the age of 8, and has spent about a decade studying ballet and other styles of dance.

She started performing at Spotlight in 2013, most recently playing multiple roles in Playfest 2021-’22. Bella earned ariZoni Award nominations for Emmett’s Art Project and Desperate Housewives of Shakespeare, and has appeared in other shows around the Valley. She has been Assistant Choreographer for the performance troupes since 2018, and has gone on to be choreographer of productions such as Peace, Love, and Cupcakes; Cloudy With a Chance of Musicals; and Cinderella: A Rock & Roll Fairytale (for which she earned another ariZoni Award nomination).

Bella plans to attend college to become a teacher, and plans to continue to pursue her love of choreography around the Valley .
