Lighting & Sound Design class starts Dec. 9
“Introduction to Theatrical Lighting & Sound Design,” taught by ariZoni winner, Josh Hontz!
In this class you will learn the basics of theatrical lighting & sound design, and optionally choose to continue on to create the lighting and soundscapes for the world premiere production of Spotlight Youth Theatre’s Playfest 2023-’24 !
You will experience the process from the first read-through of the script; to selecting colors and recording sound effects; and bringing everything together for opening night. No experience required!

Expectations:
- Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times during class.
- We may spend time working at heights on ladders up to eight feet.
- Please plan to attend all of the class meetings, as each class will build on the skills you learn each session.
Materials Needed:
All tools and materials needed will be provided during the class.
Registration is required prior to the class start date.
