Playfest 2027

Spotlight Youth Theatre’s Annual Young Playwrights Festival celebrates bold ideas, fresh voices, and original storytelling by the next generation of theatre artists. Each year, talented young writers create original one-act plays, with selected works brought from the page to the stage in fully realized productions. The plays are also produced and directed by young people from the Spotlight Youth Theatre family, giving emerging theatre artists the opportunity to lead the creative process both onstage and behind the scenes.
